 A psychological drama of strange twists taken when the consciences of human beings are affected.  Members of a respectable family are questioned in connection with the suicide of a young girl.  An inspector calls and, in questioning each member reveals the truth about the family.  A surprise twisted ending adds to the mystery.

 A young actor faces the dilemma of playing Hamlet, when he hates the role.  The appearance of the ghost of John Barrymore, the most celebrated Hamlet of all times, sets off a marathon duel about women, art, success, duty and life in general.  This comedy is fast-mouthed and funny.
